Yeah, was keen on Soundgarden attending.
But I'm pretty eager for Tool and Deftones (diamond eyes ftw).

Even though it is still 98% Shit, its a step in the right direction having Tool headline.

A second line-up announcement is due later this year.

They might announce Soundgarden then?
Generate some last minute hype?

Tool and Deftones sounds like a good time tho

Even 1 band is usually enough to get me along to a festival, and I'm keen for Grinderman and The Stooges. Never seen Tool before either. At least it's better than last year's lineup, which I happily missed.

Yeah, well I just payed $180 to see 3 International bands (1 of which I missed grrr) at the Metallica gig, so its not exactly a rip off asking $150 to see 2 bands I love, a handful that I'm interested to see, and a whole bunch that I've never heard of/probably arent interested in.

haha. ive actually tried that back in the day. i didnt have a great distortin pedal. i used one of those "super feedbacker/distortion pedals" i played it on a non electric acoustic. just mic'd up and hot signal thru pedal to amp.

omg it sounded so blackmetal yet everything like string slides and finger movement and clicks and body echo's just came thru so prominent. it was kinda aweful. perhaps someones cup of tea. not mine.
was fun for a laugh. but nothing more

"Rammstein is bringing 6 container loads of pyrotechnics" - That's gonna be one hell of a show.
