hahahahahah its a rock and a hard place

great, its like a SHOP that actually does sell your stuff for you. but you dont see any of the money.

or you could try to be a "SHOP" like him and reach the mass's.
obviously if ppl download it. it proves his shop. SELLS. even if they dont know what it is.

and if you look @ it from a marketing pov. i think. figuring out peoples opinions and statistics before you can pick the way your going to sell your product. and how you can Taylor for those people and hopefully they will buy your product. where as you cant imagine the cost of researching for a product launch in this day and age.

so i mean samples are given away. you usually have to force them on ppl.
like the 2 shots of pino't nior i had @ the supermarket lastnight.

except obviously theres excessive cases where your already a major band and have lots of operations in play to make money. being a band who's looking to try and get "KNOWN" or "HEARD" i think you cant put a price on this type of viral spreading of data. i would treat this as a good thing for disolution. it took daemon back in the day a distribution deal with some metal band in russia. then our stuff became warez to. lol i even went to the site and signed up to the get link from teh forum. only cause i actually didnt have copies of the album myself. which was kinda funny in itself. that and i left the band in 2001 so.. hah.

i wouldn't take having a "myband name - [discography] 320kbps.torrent" with 30100 seeders and 2012 leechers, anything to cry about saying "THERES MY MILLIONS" but surely that is an offer that SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.
those numbers dont lie when the product is available also.

Very positive, unsolicited review of Plague of Violence.
http://heavymetalspotlight.blogspot.com/2011/06/059-dissolution-plague-of-violence.html

"Plague of Violence" is certainly an impressive album, and should definitely receive better recognition than it does. What made the album for me was the Lead guitar, which I have mentioned continuously. It's what I can only describe as sounding like a cross between Alex Skolnick and Chris Poland.

Also - Dissolution into writing mode now and looking forward to recording a new album very soon!

Dissolution has a new drummer. Leith Skinner - formerly of Tainted - has joined. Dissolution play their final show with Mike this Wed 14 Sept in support of Claim the Throne, and then their first with Leith on Fri 16 Sept at Zebedees in CHCH.
