For all you Instrumental Progressive Shredders out there (and fans in general!), Atwaters Musicworks is going to be hosting Ibanez endorsee Tosin Abasi from Animals as Leaders in his first ever New Zealand guitar clinic!
For those of you unfamiliar with his work, Tosin Abasi is a Washington DC based guitarist who is best known for playing in the instrumental progressive metal band Animals As Leaders. Before Animals as Leaders was formed, he was the guitarist for the technical metalcore band Reflux. He has recorded and released two albums with Animals as Leaders: a self-titled debut and their latest album Weightless.
This clinic will be held at Atwaters Musicworks (141 Hobson Street, Auckland City) on Wednesday Feb 22nd. The clinic will run from 7:30pm with doors opening at 7pm. There is limited offstreet parking (front and rear of shop).
Tickets are $15 and will be available only at Atwaters Musicworks from Wednesday Feb 1st. There will be limited door sales, but we can reserve tickets if necessary.
